I have the same Anker dock and the same audio monitors wired via the 3.5mm jack. There is a persistent clicking sound when the speakers are on. With or without music actively playing. Thoughts on a fix?

Hello. Can you help me with an opinion please? I am undecided whether to go for Nikon Z8 or Sony a7RV. Which of them do you think would be better overall, and I would also like to know if the tracking autofocus is much better with the Sony a7RV. If you had to choose for yourself, which room would you choose. I specify that I shoot very little, photography is the main activity. Thank you very much.

I love your videos and the subscription was automatic!!! To mainly take wedding videos and photos, do you recommend this 20-70 f4 (which scares me a little) or the 24-50f2.8 or possibly the 28-75f2.8 Tamron? I just got the A7IV and only own the 90mm OSS Macro f2.8

Coming from 5D2 to the RP I have had surprisingly little to complain about. The RP allows for extremely fast content creation with mobile workflows, which seems to be a much overlooked point. It does excellent in the studio and works well for virtually anything except fast action. The small form factor comes with drawbacks on ergonomics and battery life. Mirrorless has its quirks, I mean who decided a default 2 second image review would work well inside a viewfinder? In sum, a very nice camera, the low price let me spend more on glass (replacing EF L with RF L is .. taxing), and it can even do a bit of video.

Yep 00:06 that damn ubiquitous side hinged rear screen is rubbish. Its too slow, obtrusive and sticks out to the side like a sore thumb. It’s about time Canon gave us a choice, do they have a contact in place where they’re not allowed to use a tilt screen or something?

The A7 IV and A7C II are going to have lower noise than the ZV-E1/FX3/FX6/A7S III under 12,800 ISO, but they don't do p60 full frame, only in APS-C, which isn't that big of a deal because you may want to center crop the ZV-E1 with dynamic active stabilization anyways. For shooting in daylight, the FX30 is going to work well, but when you are shooting cinematography you may want to soften the image up and the sensor on the ZV-E1 is softer. You can also center crop the FX30 with 2.25x total corp but you lose clear zoom and the lens will be too sharp, which may be preferred for adding special effects.

Hallo. Thanks for your video! I'm upgrading my Canon D60 and I really can't make the choice between Sony A7 mark III + FE 24-105mm F/4.0G OSS and the CANON EOS R8 + RF 24-105mm f/4-7,1 IS STM. Am I right that you think the sony is a better option for photography (I never use video on my camera, I use it mostly for street photography and urbex). Thanks for you advice

I might have missed it but : Did you mention that you could invest in a external recorder (Atomos Ninja for exemple) to record at 10 bits - 4:2:2 with the A7III ?

Id doesnt tilt up when youre holding the camera vertically, the only thing I wanted the screen to do. useless.

Just done mine. Updated to 2.02 on my mac. No issues at all. Lost my settings but that was not a problem. Do not stop the process once its starts , be patient. If you are on 1.32 , you need to go to 1.35 then 2.01 ( one download with two files from sony ) and last 2.02 which is actually a file that needs to be transferred to a sd memory card , format the card before transferring and done from the camera. Also really important, charge your battery to 100%. Follow All instructions and you ll be golden. Monitor&Control app is really awesome. the new menu is great , all good here.

Idk, i got my A7 ii open box for $599. No kit lens, 3 shutter count. Watching this, idk what the RP offers over it, 4k video? Half assed though.

Just bought 5dmk2 for 250 euros. 1080p raw video with magic lantern. Go and beat that for 250!!! 800 for this ia realy not worth... You can buy an sony alpha something for that. And be way better off! I think the next good camera is r5. But thats completely different category.

I don't own an RP & will probably save for an R8, as it seems the RPs AF is a bit slow, but I do really like the images I've seen the RP produce.

I'ts a very capable camera but prefer the R in regard compared to this one.

Dan, are you still using this lens? At about 2K budget, I'm struggling between this one and the Sony 135mm GM prime. Other than the obvious differences, as long as the autofocus is decent in video and it is as sharp as you've experienced, I'm really kind of leaning towards the Tamron for it's zoom flexibility. First world problems for sure!

Waaa waaa. It works fine. I had none of those problems. Sometimes change kind of sucks, but it’s the only way to move forward. Use CAMSET and hopefully you’ll have an easier life.

any pointers as to why the A9II EVF would show so many artifacts ( purple blue moire ) and has so little resolution especially while half pressing the shutter ?

If u shoot like a professional and know how about lights in photography, u feel more than enuf with DR in canon cameras... i prefer better colours instead 😌

Dan I consider that camera, but choose the original R. Since I’ve moved on to Fuji because I grew tired of cost of gear and most importantly I felt Canon didn’t value me as a consumer! Full frame or not there are better options out there!
